Abstract
Objective To investigate the changes of IL-1 and IL-15 levels in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA)and its clinical significance. Methods Ninety-one patients with RA and 45 healthy subjects were enrolled in the investigation.IL-1 and IL-15 levels were determined by radio-immunology measurement analytic technique and ELISA method. Results IL-1 and IL-15 levels in inactive RA group and active RA group were significantly higher than those of control group(P0.05).Moreover,IL-1 and IL-15 levels in active RA group were higher than those of inactive RA group(P0.05).IL-1 level had significant correlation with IL-15 level in these 91 patients with RA(r=0.813,P0.05).Conclusions Serum IL-1 and IL-15 levels are closely related to the genesis and development of RA.It is very important of this allied examination for RA earlier diagnosis and giving direction proposal in the treatment of RA.
