Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship between inoculation rate of hepatitis B vaccine and hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)positive rate in preschool children. Methods:HBsAg in2663infants taken to each infant school of Sanxiang town in Zhongshan from2000to2003was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)method, and the inoculation history of hepatitis B vaccine was investigated. Results:The inoculation rate of hepatitis B vaccine was88.12%.Compared2000with2002and2003,the difference of the inoculation rate of hepatitis B vaccine was statistically significant(x 2 =4.89,all,P0.05).The HBsAg positive rate was1.01%,the difference of the HBsAg positive rate was not statistically significant during2000~2003(x 20.05,3 =4.47,P0.05).The HBsAg positive rate was0.34%in patients with inoculation history of hepatitis B vaccine and6.11%in patients without inoculation history of hepatitis B vaccine, with a significant statistical difference between them(x 2 =91.09,P0.05).Conclusion:The increase of the inoculation rate of hepatitis B vaccine can effectively block the spread of HBsAg.The HBsAg positive rate of the prschool children is on a lower level.
