Abstract

Objective To analyze the trend of infections and the antibiotic resistance of acinetobacter baumannii. Methods To establish and analyze the file of total strains of acinetobacter baumannii and their antibiotic resistance from all the patients in hospital from the years of 2006 to 2008.Results A total of 92 strains of acinetobacter baumannii were isolated in last three years, which mainly came from the sputum samples of patients. In the distributions of the departments in the hospital, the intensive care unit(ICU)was the most, with the rate of 25.97%.The antibiotic resistance rate of acinetobacter baumannii indicated from the data was stabilized by years. Conclusion Drug sesitivity test be carried out before use of antibiotiCS in order to prevent the occurrence of drug resistance.
