THE MOHISM IS NEW CONFUCIANISM IN PRE-QIN PERIOD:ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MOHISM AND CONFUCIANISM

In accordance with two conditions of foundation,Mozi didn't found school of Mohism,we often say.Mozi and Confucius didn't intent to found any of schools.Mohism and Confucianism have the common fundamental spirit.Therefore,we couldn't say Confucianism is dominant and Mohism is dying out.The most fundamental point in the research of the Mohism Metaphysics is to adhere to the strict historicity firstly,draw a dear dividing line between Confucius and Confucianism and acquire an accurate understanding of the philosophical spirits of Confucius and Mozi,We can conclude that the Mohism Metaphysics inherited and developed the philosophical spirit of Confucius.From the soul of the Mohism Metaphysics---attend to and solve specific problems,we can find that Mohism goes counter to Confucianism's dogmatism and vulgarization and adheres to the correct path of Confucianism.So in nature Mohism is a kind of New Confucianism.
