Current Situation and Improvement of Road Traffic Safety in China

Abstract

With the analysis of road traffic safety in economically developed countries including Japan, USA, Britain, France, Italy and Germany in the past several decades, this paper proposes and discusses the basic pattern of road traffic safety change in the modern road traffic system with the automobile as the main transportation means. On this basis, it analyzes the current situation of modern road traffic system and road traffic safety in China. Measures to improve the road traffic safety have been presented.
