Influence of cognitive psychological nursing on patients with postpartum depression

Objective:To explore the influence of cognitive psychological nursing on emotion of patients with postpartum depression.Methods:Sixty patients with postpartum depression were randomly assigned to study group and control group with 30 cases in each group.Despite sertraline and conventional nursing measurements that were given to both groups,the study group was also given cognitive psychological nursing for a course of 4 weeks.Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)were used to evaluate the clinical efficacy before and after the treatment course.Results:Before the treatment,there was no significant difference of the HAMD or SDS scores between the two groups,while after 4 weeks intervention,both HAND and SDS scores of the study group were significant lower that that of the control group(P0.01).Conclusion:Cognitive psychological nursing can significantly promote the rehabilitation process for patients with postpartum depression.
