Abstract

Objective To evaluate the value of multislice spiral CT angiography(MSCTA) in the diagnosis of vascular complications after liver transplantation. Methods 21 patients underwent liver transplantation received MSCT examination.15 patients received Digital Subtraction Angiography(DSA) at the same time. All CT examination data were reconstituted in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional angiography on workstation. Results Radiology findings were normal in 2 cases and vascular complications oceurrecl in 19 cases. The main signs induded: ①11 cases with proper hepatic artery stenosis and 1 case with hepatic artery thrombosis;②1 case with portal vein stenosis and 1 case with portal vein thrombosis of carcinoma;③2 cases with inferior vena cava stenosis;④4 cases with segment infarction of liver;⑤1 case with hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm.1 case with segment infarction of liver and portal vein stenosis,1 case with inferior vena cava stenosis and proper hepatic artery stenosis. Conclusion MSCTA is the same as DSA in diagnosing vascular complications following liver transplantation.MSCTA will replace diagnostic function of DSA and become one of examinations of choice in diagnosing vascular complications after liver transplantation.
