Abstract
A finite volume method is applied to set up the numerical model for solving the shallow water flow with complicated topography based on unstructured grids. The Roe's scheme is used in the calculation of interfacial flux.An efficient method using a modified water depth is proposed to treat the source term of bed slope and could satisfy the compatibility condition on unstructured grids. It can be also used with a large range of existing shock-capturing schemes such as the HLL,HLLC,CU method, etc. At last, the good quality and results are illustrated by means of two examples.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
