Transformation from GML Document to SVG in WebGIS Application

Abstract

Firstly, this paper introduce GML and SVG, analyzed that how to express spatial data with GML and the advantages of using SVG to publish it on the web. Then, it also introduced XSLT technology, illustrated how to realize transformation from GML to SVG with a concrete GML document instance, and the proposal proposed technology references which are noticeable when writing stylesheets.
