Abstract

As a leader of the north Chinese painting world in the Early Republican China,Jin Cheng proposed and handled the establishment of Institutes of Antique Exhibitions as the first national museum in modern China,so it is thought that he played an important role in the development of the modern museum business in China.In fact,Jin Cheng's knowledge and ability on modern museum were closely related to his family and his own experiences of studying and touring abroad.
