Abstract

Based on experimental research on five unsymmetrical-steel reinforced concrete beams and the calculating formula of the flexural stiffness for symmetrical steel reinforced concrete beam in Specification for design of steel-reinforced concrete structure(YB9082-97), the calculating method is proposed, and the formula is derived for flexural stiffness of unsymmetrical-steel reinforced concrete beam. Results show that the calculating results agree with the measuring ones well.
