Abstract
By building a model of blasting system of blast furnace,the effects of tuyere diameter and blast pressure at tuyere on the velocity,flow rate and kinetic energy of blast were simulated,and the method of tuyere diameter adjustment is discussed with theoretical analysis.Some misunderstandings of blast furnace operation are pointed out as well.The blast kinetic energy at other tuyeres can be increased only by reducing diameter of some tuyeres.
