Abstract
This paper deals with test results o f biodegradation and removal of pesticide in rice plant by using a bacterial strain(DLL -1)isolated fromsludge. The test resul ts showed that the biodegradation of pesticide residue was accelerated a nd strengthened after application of DLL -1.The data provide experimental support for bi odegradation and removal technolog y of pesticide in both soil and plant system.
