Abstract
Mark Twain is a famous American realistic writer. His masterpiece “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”published in 1884 presents a vivid picture of American society in the 19th century. In this novel, he described the journey of a white boy who helped a renaway slave to gain freedom. The story, narrated in first person and written in colloquial style, reflects Mark Twain’s critical attitude toward the slavery.
