Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of soluble intercellular adhesion molecule 1(sICAM 1) in malignant lymphoma(ML) coming from the normal controls, the patients of the initial therapy and the completely remission(CR) after therapy. Methods The level of sICAM 1 of 25 normal controls and 23 ML patients were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results The level of sICAM 1 at 1st stage of therapy in ML patients was significantly higher than normal controls(P0.01).There were not significantly different between normal controls and CR group(P0.05).Conclusions It has some clinical significance to detect the level of sICAM 1 for the diagnosis, observation of course of diseases and therapeutic efficiency of ML.
