Abstract
Frame is one of automobile's most important basic component, which needs sufficient strength and stiffness.A finite element model of frame was established through HYPERWORKS software, reasonable constraint conditions and load was imposed on the finite element model according to the mechanical analysis, and the most significant four operating conditions of the frame was analyzed through static method. The stress-strain contour of the frame was obtained; Finally, the weak parts of the frame was predicted, and several predictable suggestions were opposed, which provides important theory foundation for the optimizing design and structure improvement of the frame.
