Value of Multi-slice Spiral CT Urography in the Diagnosis of Urologic Diseases

Objective To investigate the application of manifesting the urologic diseases and the clinical diagnostic value of urologic diseases with 64-slice spiral CT urography. Methods 36 cases accepted non-enhanced multi-slice spiral CT and contrast-enhanced MSCT examination in one years. The original data were delt with to the workstation,then the whole excretory urologic images were obtained with MIP,MPR,CPR,VR and so on. Some of the 36 cases underwent intravenous pyelography in order to be compared. Results The structure of urologic diseases was clearly displayed in all of these cases. Of the 36 cases,26 cases of normal,2 cases of ureteral calculus,2 cases of pyelic calculus,3 cases of renal cell carcinoma,1 case of ureteral carcinoma and 2 cases of unilateral renal pelvic and ureteral dilation. Conclusion 64-slice spiral CT is highly valuable for the diagnosis of renal and ureteral diseases,and can also demonstrate the parts of that the IVP can’t observe.
