Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish an RP-HPLC method for determining serum level of Phenytoin. METHODS A symmetryshield RP_ 18 column (5μm,3.9×150mm) was used. The mobile phase,methanol-water (1∶1) was used at a flow rate 1.0mL·min -1 。The detector is Waters 2487 Dual λ Absorbance Detector, detector was set at the wavelength of 210nm.RESULTS The calibration curve was linear in the range of 2.0 to 40.0 μg·mL -1 .The average recovery was 98.23%,and the RSD within-day and between-day were all less than 3%.CONCLUSION This method is suitable for therapeutic drug monitoring of Phenytoin.
