Abstract
Cultural studies flourishing in the end of 20th century,has borrowed from the method of minute text reading in new criticism in text interpretation,but it focuses on exploring the criticism theory of cultural meaning in text.Cultural studies expands the content of the text and wholly forms a new type of literary study of being turned outward.By investigating new criticism and cultural studies in text interpretation,this paper will expound the relations of reference and transcendence in the text concept and critical strategy.
