Abstract

Objective To compare the vertebral basilar blood supply and dynamics of the patients of cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type and other types spondylosis using combining color doppler flow imaging and transcranial doppler. Methods 28 patients with cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type and 26 other types spondylosis were performed color Doppler flow imaging and transcranial color doppler. The two-dimensional and hemodynamic parameters of vertebral basilar were recorded and analyzed. Results The positive ratio of TCD and CDFI of cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type were 64.3%,53.6%respectively,in the other types were26.9%,19.2%,their differences were very markedly (p0.01). Conclusion It is proved that the vertebral basilar blood supply and dynamics of the patients of cervical spondylosis in vertebral artery type is impediment and insufficient by combining color Doppler flow imaging and Transcranial color Doppler, offering pathological basis of clinical phenomena of the patients of cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type.
