Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of contrast-enhanced sonography in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant focal hepatic lesions. Methods Malignant(46 cases)and benign(31 cases)lesions of the liver were examined by GE_LOGIQ9 color Doppler ultrasound system with contrast-enhanced ultrasonography software and sonovue. The engorged process and type, enhanced extent of hepaticparenchyma and masses were recorded. Results 95.6%(44/46)malignant lesions showed contrast enhancement in the early phase, and 97.8%(45/46)malignant lesions showed hypoechoie in the late phase.51.6%(16/32)benign lesions showed contrast enhancement in the early phase, and 96.8%(30/31)benign lesions showed isoechoic and hyperechoic in the late phase. Conclusion Contrast-enhanced sonography with sonovue has a greater clinical value in the differentiation of benign and malignant 1iver lesions.
