Evaluation on Effect of Health Education about AIDS Prevention among 338 Medical Students

[Objective]To understand the effect of health education about AIDS prevention among medical students,and provide evidence for AIDS prevention among students.[Methods]A total of 338 medical students were randomly sampled from a medical college of Linyi City,and were educated with AIDS health knowledge in various ways.The effect assessment was based on twice of questionnaire survey.[Results]AIDS-related knowledge awareness of students significantly increased after education,with positive change in attitudes,the differences were significant(P0.01).[Conclusion]Health education in school is a very effective way to prevent AIDS among students.Therefore,it is necessary to take AIDS health education as compulsory course for students.
