Isolation and Identification of Avian Influenza Hebei Strain Viruse

Abstract

Avian influenza is a severe viral disease caused by influenza A viruses of family Orthomyxoviridas. In this report, two strains of avian influenza virus were isolated from seven mini-sized chicken farms in HeBei. The results of hemaggulutin inhibition(HI) and neuraminiclase Inhibition (NI)showed that they were H9N2 subtypes. It was further confirmed that they belong to low pathogentic avian influenza virus(LPAIV) (IVPI 1 .2)according to IVPI of CVL standard.
