Abstract

Objective To investigate the distribution and resistance of pathogenic bacteria isolated from patients with lower respiratory tract infection in Department of Respiratory Medicine in 2009. Methods We analyzed the pathgens isolated from the sputum of patients with lower respiratory tract infection by the retrospective methods. Results Gram-negative bacteria were 75. 6% . The most important Gram-negative pathgens were Pseudomonas aeruginosa、Enterobacter cloacae、Escherichia coli and Klebsiella Pneumoniae, respectively, the drug resistance ratio to imipenem,cefoperzone/salbactam and amikacin was 0. 0% ~ 40% ; Gram-positive bacteria were 17. 4% ,only for vancomycin the drug resistance ratio is 0. 0% ; Fungi were 6. 1% . Conclusion Gram-negative bacilli are the major pathgens in lower respiratory tract infection in Department of Respiratory Medicine, the drug resistance is severe,it is important to utilize antibiotics reasonably and pay attention to supervising drug resistance.
