An Empirical Study on Innovation Environment and the Efficiency of the Regional Technical Innovation

Using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) to analyze regional technical innovation efficiency of China's 31 provinces from 2002-2006,this paper gets the result which shows that China's regional technical innovation efficiency is an upward trend,but the overall level is poor,and the regional differences are more obvious,the region should formulate relevant policies in light of local conditions and improve innovation output with a view to reducing regional economic disparities.Further with the establishment of a fixed panel data model,it analyzes the innovative environmental effects of the regional impact on the efficiency of technological innovation,the results show that: infrastructure,market demand,the quality of workers and financial environment for regional technological innovation efficiency all have significant impact on the regional level and entrepreneurial technological innovation.The impact of the statistical validity is not significant,but the coefficient is still positive.At last,appropriate policy recommendations are proposed.
