Combination of strengthening spleen,eliminating phlegm and activating blood circulation method and western medicine for the treatment of type 2 diabetic hyperlipemia

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of strengthening spleen,eliminating phlegm and activating blood circulation method combined with western medicine in treating type 2 diabetic hyperlipemia.Methods Eighty-seven cases were randomly divided into observation group(45 cases) and control group(42 cases).Both of the groups were treated with Diformin Tablet and Atorvastatin Calcium Tablet,and observation group was treated by Chinese medicine additionally,with the course of 3 months.The clinical efficacy,blood sugar and indicator of serum lipid were observed.Results The overall effective rate was 95.56% in the treatment group and 80.95% in the control group,with a difference between the two groups(P 0.05).Before and after treatment,there were significant differences in blood lipid(TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C) in each group(P 0.05),and no significant difference was found in blood sugar(FPG,2 hPG)(P 0.05);after treatment,there were significant differences in TC,TG and HDL-C between the two groups(P 0.05).Conclusion Combined Chinese medicine with strengthening spleen,eliminating phlegm and activating blood circulation functions and western medicine together has positive effect on type 2 diabetic hyperlipemia.Its therapeutic effect is better than the western medicine in improving clinical symptoms and reducing blood lipid aspects.
