Abstract
[Objective]To explore the protective effects of glucagon like peptide-2(GLP-2)on intestinal mucosal immunologic barrier in rats with severe acute pancreatitis.[Methods]Rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:control group(sham operation group),severe acute pancreatitis model group(SAP group),GLP-2 group(SAP rats treated with GLP-2).The SAP rat models were established via retrograde injection of 3% sodium taurocholate to the pancreatic duct.Rats in GLP-2 group were hypodermically injected with GLP-2 with dose of 0.1 mg/kg per day for 3 days.Three days later, the severity of intestinal mucosal damage was investigated with HE staining. The slgA contents of intestinal mucosa were examined by radioimmunoassay.[Results]Compared with control group, the intestinal mucosa of rats in SAP group appeared abnormal pathologic change significantly.Compared with SAP group, intestinal mucosa of rats in GLP-2 group had a slight pathologic condition.Compared with control group, the sIgA of mucosa in SAP group decreased significantly(0.187±0.028 g/L,0.846±0.140g/L,P﹤0.05);Compared with SAP group, the sIgA of mucosa in GLP-2 increased significantly(0.703±0.138 g/L,0.187±0.028 g/L,P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]GLP-2 may has a protective effect on intestinal mucosal immunologic barrier in rats with severe acute pancreatitis.
