Meta analysis of the clinical efficacy of amlodipine plus telmisartan on hypertension

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of combination of amlodipine plus telmisartan on hypertension.Methods Pubmed,Embase,Science,CNKI and Wanfang Database were searched for combination of amlodipine and telmisartan on hypertension using the key words amlodipine,telmisartanandhypertension,supplemented literature recourse method to retrieve.The clinical efficacy of combination or amlodipine plus telmisartan on hypertension were analyzed by Meta-analysis.Results Ten literatures and 1095 cases were included in this study,which consisted of 551 cases as trial group and 544 controls.Meta-analysis showed that the average level of systolic pressure and diastolic blood pressure in trial group was lower compared with the control group after treatment(P 0.05).Conclusion Combination of amlodipine and telmisartan can significantly regulate blood pressure on the hypertension patients.
