Analysis of "Shen" in Chinese Classical Poetics from the Perspective of "Rushen"

The idea of rushen(into spirit and subtlety) holds an important position in the Yan Yu poetics,but it has not been fully expounded.Yan Yu proposed the poetics category of wu(enlightenment) to obtain the poetics category of xingqu in order to overcome the Jiang Xi poetics to reason things out excessively the discussion malpractice.In fact,Yan Yu poetics believed only in the condition of rushen.When mind and substance are combined the poet can have the poetic wu and xingqu,and reach the ideal of state pursued by classical poetics
