Abstract

ObjectiveTo assess the clinical efficiency of tension free vaginal tape(TVT) procedure in the surgical treatment of female stress urinary incontinence(SUI).MethodsTen cases of SUI were subjected to the TVT procedure.ResultsPostoperative urinary retention occurred in 2 cases and relieved after one week of indwelling catheter,bladder injury in 1 case.All cases of SUI were cured.None of them recured after being followed up for 2~12 months.ConclusionThe TVT procedure is a safe,mini-invasive and effective surgical method for treatment of SUI.
