Study on MRI image of intracranial primary lymphoma

Objective To explore the CT,MRI in clinical examination in the diagnosis of primary brain lymphoma characteristics.Methods A retrospective analysis of 2007 December to 2011 November in our department in 12 cases proved by operation and pathology or clinical detection for primary brain lymphoma patients in observation group,35 cases in our hospital from the brain tumor patients according to the visiting time is random and draw-out intracranial metastasis 20 cases as control group,were examined by CT and MRI examination in the diagnosis of.Observation of the tumor site,number,lesion distribution,morphological characteristics,the presence of cystic degeneration,necrosis.The results of CT scan of lymphoma tissue showed isodense or slightly high density values;T2WI in the observation group were low signal 3 cases,signal or slightly high signal 13 cases,signal 7 cases,signal 7 cases in control group,high signal in 21 cases,differences are significant(P0.05),with statistical significance.The control group patients have obvious characteristics of cystic degeneration,necrosis 18 cases,only 1 cases in observation group,the difference has statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusions CT and MRI performance in patients with primary brain lymphoma has its characteristics,distinguish the radiological features contributes to making the correct diagnosis of the disease.
