Abstract

The effects of 2 Bacillus subtilis strains,Q4and Q10inhibiting the growth of E.coli and Salmonella.Regarded E.coli and Salmonellaas indicators, investigated by the co-incubation,pre-incubation and post-incubation method. The results revealed that 2 Bacillus subtilis strains showed different ability to inhibit the growth of E.coli and Salmonellaafter incubating with Q4and Q10,respectively.Having inoculated Bacillus subtilis and then co-incubation pathogens inhibition were most obvious in means of the strongest inhibitory effect at 24h,at the same time,pre-incubation Bacillus subtilis and then co-incubation pathogen the inhibition was the weakest of all,the pathogens and Bacillus subtilis co-incubation were the second. From the former consequences that 2 Bacillus subtilis strains of Q4and Q10had inhibitory effect on the pathogen, but there were differences in inhibition, and related to the duration of Bacillus subtilis and pathogen inoculation.
