On the Phenomenon of Negative Transfer From Chinese in the English Writing of Chinese Learners

Chinese students are disturbed by their mother tongue in the process of English learning and its result tends to be negative which is called negative transfer from mother tongue.Transfer from mother tongue especially negative transfer from Chinese covers the following aspects:from vocabulary to grammar,from sentence to text,and from thinking mode to culture.Thus,the present article discusses the influences of negative transfer from mother tongue on Chinese students' English writing.
