Cai Yuanpei's Thoughts of Aesthetic Education and Its Enlightenment on University Quality Education

Mr. Cai Yuanpei, who was a famous educationist, advocated positively aesthetic education through his life. He deemed that aesthetic education ran through one’s life and we should put it into effect on family, school and social aesthetics. Moreover, Mr. Cai specially emphasized that aesthetic education was a very important position and action on school education. He put forward relying upon aesthetic education instead of religion in the light of social abuse. All of Cai Yuanpei's thoughts of aesthetic education have great practical significance to today’s university quality education in increasing developments of the school, and improving the student and the teacher's character etc.
