A Probe into Chongqing Tongnan Dialect

Abstract

Towm,or Chadian,Chadianzi,lies in the northeast of Tongnan,Chongqing.The spoken in Minzhu,Mengzi,Liaojiachanggou of Guxi and some other towns around differs from dialect spoken in other parts of Chongqing and Tongnan greatly.It becomes a unique dialect island,which is called Lingxing Dialect or Shenzhou Dialect.In this article,we discuss its pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar and think that Longxing Dialect is a branch of Old Huguang Dialect.
