Clinical analysis of the intraductal papillomatosis of breast(A report of 27 cases).

Objective To investigate the characteristic, diagnosis and treatment of the intraductal papillomatesis. Methods The clinical data of 27 cases who were diagnosed as intraductal papillomatesis from January 2000 to December 2004 were collected and analyzed retrospectively .Results Among those 27cases,18cases were confirmed histopathologically to be intraductal papillomatesis,The confirmed diagnosis rate of intraductal papillomatesis by galactograghy was 90.00%. Carcinoma-change rate of the intraductal papillomatesis was 11.11%. Conclusion Nipple dischange is the most common symptom in the intraductal papillomatesis.The galactography is a valuable method in the diagnosis of the intraductal papillomatesis..There is carcinoma-change poaaibility in the intraductal papillomatesis.
