A Historical Study of Shuerhaqi

Shuerhaqi was one of the younger brothers of Nuerhachi who was the first emperor of the Qing dynasty.In the Zhaoxing Period of the Qing dynasty,Shuerhaqi ranked second only to Nuerhachi.However,Shuerhaqi was later killed by Nuerhachi due to their intensifying conflicts,which is a reflection of the power struggle of the royal family members and nobles of Manzhou in that period.The history books written in the Qing dynasty have only a brief and vague account of this event.The paper gives an incisive study of the historical data and reveals the facts of that historical period.
