Abstract

Discourse exisls in language and is programmed by the language,the grammar rules formulated in its historical process and the historical context.Literary theory,as a kind of discourse,cannot be freed from the system of rules formulated in the national common language.The Chinese literary discourse is regulated by the common language of the Chinese nationality.Concretely speaking in ancient China,the archaic Chinese language stipulated the archaic Chinese literary theory;in modern China,it was the modern Chinese language that stipulated the discourse of the modern and contemporary Chinese literary theory.Most fundamentally,or from the perspective of the ontology of language the modern and contemporary Chinese literary theory does not have its own discourse.Since so, how should it have lost its discoursc?
