Overseas Chinese's Education in Late Qing Dynasty

There were three periods of Overseas Chinese's Education in the period of late Qing Dynasty:(1)Overseas Chinese ran small schools by themselves before 70th of 19 century and the Qing government did not make any policy of Overseas Chinese's Education;(2)During the period until end of 19 century,some officials pushed on Overseas Chinese's Education and the government began to pay attention to Overseas Chinese's Education;(3)From the beginning of 20century to the end of Qing Dynasty,there was a big development period of Overseas Chinese's Education in which Overseas Chinese run new-style schools,and Qing government took many measures,such as encouraging teachers to teach abroad,founded Quanxue institution,making rules of Overseas Chinese's schools,establishing Jinan School and carrying out New Deal(xinzheng) to attract the talented overseas Chinese etc.Although Qing government passively took measures of Overseas Chinese's Education in the interests of the idea,economy,politics,it in fact made a good change in the policy of Overseas Chinese's Education.
