Abstract

Question-and-Answer literary type comes from ancient times. The augury has some close relationships with Zhou Yi . The practising function of Zhou Yi provides the possibility of their appearance, and just in the course of recording the augury process the ancient people created first augury question-and-answer type works. The augury activities by that time had the sacred characteristics so that they adopted such a question-and-answer structural pattern all the same, and in the depth of significance, their characteristics were in the same strain with the function and principles of Zhou Yi .
