Abstract

Objective To investigate the environmental condition of Songhua river's mercury pollution after comprehensive eatment.Methods The polluted region by mercury of Songhua River after comprehensive reatment of Jilin City was used as a survey group and unpolluted region by mercury of Changchun city as control group.To detect the mercury content of environment of the two groups by means of oxygen buring-cold atom absortpion.Results The difference of the mercury content between the two groups had no statistical significance(P0.05).Compared with the environmental mercury content of Songhua River now and ten years ago the difference had statistical significance(P0.01).Conclusion After the treatment of major mercury sources of industrial and methyl mercury,Songhua river mercury pollution is brought under control.
