The Three Big Trends of the Development of China's History Science Since 1980s

Since 1980s, under the guidance of the spirit of the 11th Plenary Session of the 3rd Central Committee of the CPC, the Chinese history science field has clarified confusion and brought back to order. After seriously self- thinking on the history science and reforming from the bottom in theory since the founding of the P. R. China , it deeply investigated and studied the theory and means of the history science itself. Then the theory and means of the history science have manifest themselves plural multivariate tendency, which is the one big developing trends in this period; the expansion and various developments are the other big developing trend; the great amount of introduction from the foreign history theory and methods, studying and trying application of them, the augmentation of academic exchange with international history fields, China's history science beginning going to world and to internationalization are the third developing trend.
