Clinical observation of Sofastin treating knee joint osteoarthritis injected after arthroscopy

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of Sofast injected into articular cavity in the treatment of knee joint osteoarthritis after arthroscopy.Methods Twenty-four patients with knee joint osteoarthritic treated by debridement arthroscope from Jun.2003 to Jan.2005 were divided into two groups of Sofast group and control group.The curative effect and side effect were studied during the follow-up period of half to two years.Results No patients with Sofast reoccurred and joint function were better than that of control group.Conclusion The satisfactory effect may be achieved in treating knee joint osteoarthritis after arthroscopy with Sofast.
