Treatment under the guidance of ductoscopy for intraductal papilloma

Objective:To explore application of ductoscopy in the treatment of intraductal papilloma.Methods:45 patients with intraductal papilloma undertaken ductoscopy and operation.Results:Of 45 patients with ductoscopy,39 had single intraductal papilloma,6 had multiple Intraductal papilloma.44 patients with pathologically confirmed intraductal papilloma had regional resection.1 with severe atypical hyperplasia had mastectomy.All the ducts with bloody discharge had intraductal papilloma.25% of ducts with non-bloody discharge had intraductal papilloma.Conclusion:Ductoscopy is an important option in the treatment of intraductal papilloma.Intraoperational ductoscopy is recommended for the patients with ipislateral multiple non-bloody discharge.
