Investigation of Tiaozhi capsule on the treatment of hyperlipemia

Abstract

Objective To investigate Tiaozhi capsule on the treatment of hyperlipemia.Methods 120 patients with hyperlipemia were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in treatment group(n=60) were treated by Tiaozhi capsule,6 pills,twice a day.Patient in control group(n=60) were treated by lovastatin,20 mg,one time a day.The course was two months in two groups.The effect in both groups was compared.TC,TG and liver and renal function before and after treatment were measured in both groups.Results The therapeutic effect in treatment group was superior to that in control group(P0.05).TC and TG after treatment were lower than those before treatment in two groups(P0.01).There was no significant difference on TC and TG between two groups after treatment(P0.05).Conclusion Tiaozhi capsule has definite effect on the treatment of hyperlipemia.Its effect was same as lovastatin.
