Abstract
Conservation ex situ is a dominating method for germplasm of tropical crops. This paper introduced the concept of conservation ex situ and its effect on genetic diversity of tropical crops. The opinion and advice were put forward: 1) weeding out the germplasm individuals without well fitness; 2) selecting seed from well-grown trees and establishing stabilizing population via natural selection; 3) conserving the Evolutionary Significant Unit for wild germplasm resources in China.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
