Abstract

[Objective] To explore the efficacy of urokinase in the early thrombolysis treatment of acute cerebral infarction.[Method] Ninety-three patients within 12 hours after onset of cerebral infarction were randomly divided into urokinase therapy group(56 cases)and control group(37 cases). They were treated for 14 days. Before and after treatment, the clinical situation and CT image were analysed and the effect was evaluated.[Results] In urokinaes therapy group, the curative rate was 50% and the total effective rate was 91.07%.Particularly,the best efficacy of urokinase thrombolysis was observed in patients treated in 3 hours after diagnosis of cerebral infarction, and the curative rate was 73.68% and the total effective rate was 100%.In control group, the curative rate was 10.8% and the total effective rate was 75.67%.[Conclusion] Urokinase in the early thrombolysis treatment of acute cerebral infarction is safe and effective.
