Abstract

There exist great differences in capital allocation among regions, not only from the internal capital difference, but also the difference of cross-regional capital flow. The paper, through the analysis of the relationship between capital flow and regional economy development in China, concluded that: a.the economic development of eastern, central and western regions is obviously influenced by capital supply, regional capital flow and the inflow of foreign capital;b.capital supply has a greater impact on west than eastern and central region;c.the impact of regional capital flow on central region is bigger than east and west;d.the inflow of foreign capital has a significantly positive effect on the economy of western region, which is obviously larger than that on the eastern and central regions.Besides, the capital outflow of west has a significantly negative effect on economic development in west on the basis of capital scarcity.
