Discussion on Current Situation and Breeding Tactics of Genetic Improvement of Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica

On the basis of literature review from aspects of introduction,geographic variation and seed provenance trial,selection of elite stand and establishment of parent-stand,selection of tree species and establishment of seed orchard,cross breeding of Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica and etc,the paper puts forward the breeding tactics in view of existing situation,paying especial attention to the collection of genetic resources,establishment of advanced seed orchards,selection of clones and application of biotechnology.
