The Biological Characteristics of Cercospora Fuligenae

Abstract
The biological characteristics of Cercospora fuligenae were studied.The results showed as follows: There were evident differences on mycelial growth in different culture media.The mycelial growth was optimum on the culture media of Oatmeal and PSA.PDA and tomato decoction took the second place.The range of suitable temperature was 5~35℃,the optimum temperature was 25℃;the mycelial lethal temperature was 55℃ for 10min.The range of temperature for conidia germination was 10~40℃,the optimum was 25℃.High temperature would inhibit the conidia germination;the rate of conidia germination was the highest in 1% concentration of xylose,fructose and glucose separately and was low in water drops.The conidia could germinate with the treatments from pH2 to pH12;pH6 was the best one,and the conidium lethal temperature was 54℃ for 10min.
